Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can I receive this vacuum?

We hold UK stock on these models. Orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days (subject to stock), with FREE UK mainland delivery. If you need it urgently, call us and we’ll confirm the fastest option.

Is this vacuum certified for asbestos work?

No. This is an abatement vacuum and is not DOP tested, so it is not supplied as a BS 8520-3 certified asbestos vacuum. For asbestos work, choose a model marked CERTIFIED / DOP tested from our Type-H asbestos range.

What’s the difference between ULPA and HEPA filters?

  • ULPA H14: typically 99.999% efficient at 0.12 microns (used on this vacuum)
  • HEPA H13: typically 99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns

ULPA provides higher filtration efficiency for finer particulates, which is why it’s preferred for specialist hazardous dust applications.

Should I choose 230v or 110v?

230v: Standard UK mains voltage. Use for buildings with normal power outlets (standard 3-pin UK plug).

110v: Site safety voltage. Often required on construction sites and preferred where enhanced electrical safety is needed. The unit is supplied for 110v operation and may require a yellow 110v plug depending on your site supply (plug supplied).

What accessories are included?

Everything you need is included in the lid of the vacuum:

  • 6ft clear hose for blockage identification
  • 8ft power cord (230v or 110v)
  • Adjustable shoulder strap
  • Utility nozzle with brush
  • Crevice tool with brush
  • Flexible gooseneck tool
  • 2× hose plugs and 2× filter plugs for transport containment

When should the ULPA filter be replaced?

Replace the filter when performance drops, the filter is damaged, or your site procedure requires a change. Where hazardous materials are involved, always follow the correct handling and disposal procedure and use appropriate PPE.
